Village Council Approves South Corridor BRT Pinecrest Parkway Vision Plan Update

The Pinecrest Village Council Approves Vision Plan Update for Pinecrest Parkway (US1), October 2022. The update considered new zoning standards to meet the guidelines for the county's Rapid Transit Zones (RTZs) initiative to accommodate more compact, transit-oriented development while maintaining the village's character and scale. The five-month process engaged the community with a communications strategy, monthly meetings with a citizens advisory committee, a visioning session and multiple meetings with the Village Council. Colab drafted the zoning changes, as well as the Comprehensive Plan amendments.
