New Project Alert for Fort Lauderdale Central City CRA

Last Tuesday, our team was officially selected to lead the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Central City CRA through a challenging Land Use Plan Amendment (LUPA). This initiative builds on years of collaboration with the community to revitalize commercial corridors and enhance opportunities for mixed-use development while safeguarding the surrounding neighborhoods. SB 180, which prohibits restrictive or burdensome comprehensive plan amendments and land development regulations is influencing the city's approach to these changes. Colab is actively collaborating with municipal clients who are adapting growth strategies to this new legislation.
