Let's Talk About Zoning

Last Wednesday, our team helped lead a series of community workshops to talk about Augusta Richmond County's zoning code update. The result, lively participation, requests for more conversations, more data points and survey work, an explanation of planning terms, more neighborhood amenities, more neighborhood shopping and protection from emerging uses like data centers. Colab is tasked with developing zoning recommendations and a code rewrite for the downtown district. All meetings were live streamed and available on the city's website.
