MHCP Colab is Developing a Zoning Update for Downtown Augusta

MHCP Colab was selected as part of the White Smith Cousino team, to update the downtown zoning ordinance. This historic downtown is in close proximity to Augusta University and the Medical Campus and major arts and cultural uses. The new code will follow the recommendations from Envision Augusta, the city's Comprehensive Plan, and facilitate better guidelines for development in the downtown. The code was initially written in the 1960s.
