NW 79th Street Board Retreat Sets Priorities for the Year Ahead

On August 29, the NW 79th Street Board held a three-hour retreat to review progress from the past year and set priorities for the year ahead. Guided by Colab, the Board revisited the Action Plan objectives and identified key redevelopment initiatives to advance.
A central outcome was the Innovation Hub—a space envisioned for community collaboration, workforce development, business support, and engagement with residents, business owners, and investors.
The Board also prioritized investments in infrastructure, streetscape improvements, open space and tree canopy, wellness, infill housing, and mixed-use development. Colab looks forward to continuing its partnership with the Board to bring these initiatives to life in the coming year.
