And the Winner is: Maker Cities at Maker Faire Selects Public Art Installation

Firm principal, Melissa Hege, AICP, was guest juror for this fun public art installation competition from the Maker Cities class. Led by Moonlighter Fab Lab, students presented five group projects for a public art concepts on Lincolon Road. The winner, Lincoln Walls, an interactive set of six foot tall rectangular panels that roll out on wheels to reveal circular cutouts for comfy seating. Every entry was amazing and it was a really difficult decision for the jurors. The class will refine the winning design, then fabricate and install over the next several weeks. Stay tuned.
